Here's your chance to pit yourself against 600 Firefighters in a climb up 28 floors wearing 25kgs of Turnout Gear and Breathing Apparatus. This year, the Firefighter's Charity Fund with your help will be climbing to raise $700,000 to aid in the fight against depression, PTSI and suicide. Compete, donate, or sponsor a Firefighter to help the Emergency Services Foundation support mental health initiatives.
Since 2020, I’ve been on a mission to make a real difference. I am thrilled to share that I have raised over $65,000 for this event supporting our Emergency Service first responders and their families, Everyday Australians battling mental health as well as those going through Cancer treatment.
On top of that, I’ve also contributed $18,000 to other incredible charities like Black Dog, Royal Flying Doctor Service, and Cancer Councils Relay for Life, FightMND and the 000 Foundation.
This year, I’m gearing up to climb for Team 000, representing fire services from Australia and beyond. No matter where you’re from, your support means everything in helping me raise crucial funds for our First Responders and their families!
For over 13 years, I have been a passionate advocate for mental health and overall well-being. As a Veteran who faced challenges upon returning to Australia, I know firsthand the importance of supporting those who serve our communities.
Organizations like Lifeline are lifelines themselves, providing essential crisis support for mental health with $39 being all it takes to answer a phone call. And the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation stands at the forefront of cancer research and treatment, offering hope to countless individuals.
This year marks my final big fundraising push, aiming to reach a milestone of $23,010 and hit an incredible personal total of $100,000 raised. With your help, we can smash through this goal together!
Thank you for your ongoing support and let’s make this year’s fundraising journey the most impactful yet! 🤙🏻
9/11 Memorial
The Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb remembers the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives in the line of duty on 11th September 2001.
My stair climb race bib will include the name and photo of FDNY Firefighter Charles J Margiotta in memory of their sacrifice made on that fateful day. Search and read more about Charles J Margiotta.
So far, I've raised $16,428 of my $34,108 fundraising goal.
